Exterior Renovations in Bay St. Louis, MS
June 20, 2025

Storm season doesn’t wait. Neither should you when you start to see wear on your home’s exterior.

It’s the kind of thing you notice after a big rain—peeling paint, warping siding, or that gutter that’s just a little too low. These issues might seem cosmetic, but they’re early warnings. If left unchecked, they can lead to water damage, structural problems, and energy inefficiency. That’s where exterior renovations in Bay St. Louis, MS, come in.

One local homeowner ignored signs of siding rot for a couple of years, and now they’re dealing with mold behind the walls. What started as a small patch of peeling paint turned into a full siding replacement and interior mold remediation. The good news? Once the right renovation crew got involved, the process was manageable and fast. They assessed the damage, removed the compromised sections, installed moisture-resistant siding, and restored the property to better than before.

Here’s the thing—working with local experts makes a big difference. Professionals who do exterior renovations in your region are already familiar with the local climate stressors and building codes. That means faster job starts, better material recommendations, and on-the-ground accountability.

Ultimately, a properly done renovation can protect your property from further damage and improve energy efficiency, all while increasing curb appeal and resale value. And in a place like Bay St. Louis, where salt air and humidity are a daily reality, these renovations aren’t optional - they’re necessary.

At Next Level Building & Remodeling LLC, we are your dedicated partners in elevating your home's presence in Bay St. Louis. As a locally owned company with 18 years of hands-on experience, we know your property's exterior is its most important first impression.

About - Bay St. Louis, MS

Bay St. Louis began in 1699 when French explorers Pierre LeMoyne, Sieur d'Iberville, and Jean Baptiste LeMoyne, Sieur d'Bienville, found the bay while searching for the Mississippi River.

Bay St. Louis is 26.62 square miles, with 45% of it being water. The city is 23 feet above sea level, with some areas up to 25 feet along the old Highway 90 ridge, high ground that spared some of the city from Katrina’s worst flooding.

When you visit, make sure to get to Old Town, the heart of Bay St. Louis, where locally owned boutiques, restaurants, and art galleries create a lively atmosphere that’s been called “Mayberry by the Sea”. Art lovers and history buffs will love this area for the thriving arts scene and historic L&N Train Depot, where the Mardi Gras Museum and Alice Moseley Folk Art Museum are housed.
